Sagewell offers the most comprehensive EV load management solution by combining AMI-data-based BYOC program, vehicle telematics and EVSE technologies.
Sagewell’s unique BYOC offering typically enrolls a record-breaking 50% of Level 2 charging EVs. Over 98% of participating EVs charge outside of the coincident peak hour. This leaves less than 2% of the peak load available for active management.

The BYOC program uses AMI (“smart meter”) data to detect EV charging and confirm compliance with program rules. EV owners simply set the built-in vehicle charging timer to charge the vehicle during off-peak hours. Sagewell algorithms help drivers to distribute their charging. All EV makes and models, and all chargers, networked and non-networked, are eligible to participate.
Sagewell telematics offers comprehensive passive and active load management to reach those drivers who do not have a home smart meter, or charge away from home.
EVSE (“smart charger”) load management program enrolls customers’ chargers into active or passive load management programs.
