We are known for our mass-scale thermal imaging programs that have imaged over one million homes and driven homeowner participation in energy efficiency programs. We also provide advanced energy efficiency marketing and utility customer analytics services. This upcoming winter season should be the most productive thermal imaging program yet, and Sagewell is looking for an experienced supervisor to help lead the imaging team.  Our headquarters are located in Cambridge, MA.

Position description:

The Night-Shift Operations Supervisor is responsible for the night-time operations and oversight of 16-20 team members.  He or she will manage the vehicle fleet, thermal imaging equipment, and team scheduling to ensure optimal performance each night.  This is an overnight position requiring 2-3 months of travel during winter season.  All travel arrangements, lodging costs, and meal allowances are provided.  The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in team management, will be dedicated and show personal motivation for project success. A clean driving record and valid driver’s license are required. This is a temporary, overnight position with potential for transition to full-time for the right applicant.

Position requirements:

  • Assist in interviewing and selecting technicians and drivers for winter imaging projects.
  • Schedule teams and shift changes to ensure maximum up-time of vehicles at night.
  • Learn procedures and operations in order to oversee thermal image technician and driver training, with ability to troubleshoot as needed.
  • Set up and maintain team member time tracking daily.
  • Organize and run safety meetings for all staff to ensure ongoing attention to safety procedures.
  • Provide phone and in-person support and feedback for imaging crews throughout the night.
  • Communicate with software development and management teams for ongoing process improvement.
  • Perform data processing on as-needed basis.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
  • Experience with night shift operations strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight and travel out of state for months at a time is required.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and troubleshoot problems with little or no guidance is required.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Technology, Computer Information Technology, Manufacturing Management and Operations, Robotics, Aviation Maintenance, Engineering Management, or related field preferred; technical aptitude is required.
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of employees is a key part of the role, as is a good sense of humor.
  • Experience in a production-oriented organization with ability to get things done safely, timely, while maintaining high quality is preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word, and ability to effectively communicate via email and phone is desired.
  • Thermal imaging experience is helpful.
  • Vehicle maintenance skills a plus.

Position description:

Analyze and interpret thermal images.  Analysts will be trained to review and interpret thermal images using Sagewell’s proprietary software and analysis tools.  Analyst position may also involve various data analysis, customer service and administrative tasks as needed.  

These are temporary positions expected to last 2 – 4 months.

Position requirements:

  • Ability to focus on detailed computer images for sustained periods of time
  • Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week.

We are looking for a creative engineer with a strong attention to detail to help us specify, evaluate, and integrate our next generation of imaging, GPS, and mobile computing hardware. We are aggressively expanding our fleet of imaging hardware and need help engineering our next generation of systems.

Hardware evaluation/testing
Hardware integration
Power budget and analysis
Limited mechanical integration as required

Qualifications:

At least 2 years of undergrad engineering experience (electrical engineering preferred)
Strong attention to detail
Hands on system integration experience
Experience with GPS, high speed imaging, automotive systems preferred
C# familiarity is a plus
General programming experience is a plus
